Wayne County Correctional Facility is now accepting applications for Food Service Worker. Formal culinary training and ServSafe certification preferred. Candidate must have minimum two years experience in lead kitchen position. Position is part-time. AGING CARE MANAGEMENT POSITIONS are generally full time positions. Possible positions over the next year may occur. We will fill those positions from the PA Civil Service list for Aging Care Manager. Minimum requirements: Six months of experience as an Aging Care Manager 1, County Caseworker 1 or County Social Casework Intern; or one year of experience in public or private social work and a Bachelor’s Degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences; or a bachelor’s degree with a social welfare major; or any equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences. The Wayne County Transportation System is seeking applicants to take the Civil Service Test for Van Driver to fill future vacancies. Van Driver positions expected to e filled are Part Time. Starting wage is $9.66 per hour with part time county benefits available. Applicants with a CDL license start at $ 10.09 per hour. Applicants must have one year's driving experience, other than their own personal vehicle. A civil service application and supplement for Van Driver are required. The Wayne County Commissioners are seeking applicants for the position of Corrections Officer at the Wayne County Correctional Facility.
IT knowledge, experience in supervision and availability of working in a 24 hour facility are all important qualities. Applicants must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Successful applicants will be hired on a part-time basis and be subject to Pre-employment drug test screening as well as criminal history and driver’s history reports.
